Voltage events

Readings come from one location in Serenity, using consumer equipment that samples every few seconds. Brief surges are not captured, and these are not certified measurements. Thresholds follow the ITIC tolerance curve for 120V equipment: low voltage is recorded below 108V for 10 seconds or more, high voltage from the first reading above 132V. Motor driven appliances may be affected by low voltage even within these limits.
If you think a voltage event damaged your equipment: BPL's claims process asks for a claim form within 6 months of the incident, a licensed technician's report, and proof of purchase or repair invoices. These records may help identify the date and time, but they are informal and not certified, and BPL makes its own assessment. See BPL's damage claim form and the claims process in its Consumer Protection Plan (part 5).
